2014.7.15 BIOS Corp. has modified its Thunderbolt 2 RAID controller-ERIC10TB2 after Computex on June 2014. With a proprietary Alumin dissipation sink on top, the new RAID controller module is now fanless design. Limited design kit will be shipped to engaged partners on late August this year. Mass production will be scheduled on early Q4 in 2014. The controller will be a certified standalone component for system builders. The controller provides up to 10 HDDs and can be accessed via Thunderbolt 2 host or USB3 and eSATA6G. It is managed by WebGUI and an optional LCD operational panel.
